United Domestic Workers Association - UK

The United Domestic Workers Association (UDWA) UK is a grassroots organisation led by and for migrants working as domestic workers in the UK. It was initially set up as the Filipino Domestic Workers Association in 2013, and now expanded its work with other migrant domestic workers from other countries. We provide support, advocacy, and community to migrant domestic workers facing abuse, exploitation, and isolation. We work to protect rights, raise awareness, and push for vital policy change — including the call to end tied visas and the UK’s ratification of the ILO Convention on Domestic Workers.
